Long before I consciously started my healer's journey, I found the divine by gazing over the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean, walking among the forests of ancient trees and lying under the blanket of stars in the desert. Dancing was my first form of meditation where I could lose myself in the music and become one with the universe.
I am so lucky to still have grandparents and parents and infinitely blessed with the joy of raising my own daughter. This forever growing love brings me so much gratitude, but it was also the stress of these responsibilities that pushed me to unlock my healing gifts.
I love to explore other countries through literature, food and travel. My undergraduate studies allowed me to read fiction, non-fiction and religious text of many countries. After traveling through Europe and Asia, I decided to teach English as a Second Language. Teaching classrooms of multi-cultural students highlighted how unique each culture is and yet how we are all truly the same.
I am an intuitive healer who works with spirit to remove blocks and connect people to higher frequencies such as peace, inspiration, amusement and joy. I began my healer journey with Reiki, then learned to work with auras, chakras and hear communication from spirit. Quantum Alchemical Healing was a blessing to both me and my clients because it works with the both the physical and energetic bodies.
When I learned my teenage brother was having a second brain surgery, I decided to take a more pro-active approach. The first brain surgery left me feeling helpless and afraid. If I wasn't crying, I was yelling and if I wasn't working I was drinking. No whiskey or beer was strong enough to numb the fear of losing my youngest family member before he could graduate high school. I did not want to be in that place again. I signed up for Reiki with a focus on oncology. I replaced daily drinking with daily meditation and my personal growth sky rocketed.
The day of my brother's surgery proved to me how much I had grown. I was able to hold space for his emotions without them clouding my own. I remember sitting in the waiting room before he was called back to surgery. My hands rested on his knees channeling the Reiki to fill his body and I saw something that I never learned in Reiki. I could see the black tar of fear that was pooled inside his gut. The image was so clear in my mind. I started visualizing the blackness being pulled out, but there was so much that I just lit it on fire. Once he was called back and prepped for surgery, I told him, "If any fear pops up, you just light it on fire."
It is my brother's warrior spirit and joyous attitude that has allowed him to expand his life in the face of cancer. He graduated from high school after spending the majority of his senior year in and out of hospitals. His band had their first paid performance less than a month after his surgery. And he now has an ever increasing number of subscribers on his YouTube channel.
The one thing I like to feel credit for, is the calm I brought him on that scary day. And really, only because he gave me the credit. When teenagers wake up from anesthesia, it is extremely common for them to wake up swinging. The surgeon assistant even commented on being a little scared of Luke's muscular arms. But, when my brother woke up, he took a deep breath, opened his eyes and said, "Groovy." The surgeon assistant noted her surprise at the lack of instinctual aggression. To which my brother responded, "It's because my sister did her chi on me." Still my proudest moment as a healer.
It was less than a month after that day that I signed up for energy healing. The instructor described it as 'kindergarten for clairvoyance.' It was through this course that I learned to see more vividly and hear more precisely. With Reiki I could feel the energy being pulled from my hands to the healee. With energy healing, I can feel the ripples and tears in someone's energy body. I can feel if a chakra has slowed or is unaligned. I can see foreign entities (in my mind's eye) and listen to the reasons it is present in a person's energy body. I work with my spirit team and I ask them questions to get to the root causes. I love practicing Reiki and energy healing on other people because the process actually heals us both!
My trust in the universe has been paying me back ten-fold. Within a couple weeks of starting my energy healer training, I met a woman that was willing to be my 'guinea pig.' My class was every Wednesday and we would meet every Thursday so I could practice my new techniques. Although still green in my communication, I was confident that my spirit team was powerful. At first, I was just excited she could feel me work without any actual touch. The night I got my psychic surgeon, we started to work on a physical issue. She had suffered a trauma a few years prior and it had left a physical pain in her abdomen. Three days after our first psychic surgeon session, she texted me with amazing news. The pain was gone! A pain that had been present for three years had dissipated after one 15 minute session and three days. While I had always believed, this was my concrete proof: I am a healer.
Where I am now in my understanding of the healing process is that we all have the power to heal ourselves, but it takes daily practice. I have now made meditation and healthy diet a part of my norm. By doing so, I can now see and hear things that before seemed part of a fantasy realm. I know we are all connected and I believe each personal healing contributes to planetary healing. I want to do my part to make this planet stronger and healthier so that every being can take part in the joy and peace that is always available to each of us.
